H.P. Blavatsky: online exhibition

Congratulations, dear visitor of the exhibition! We hope that you have a deep interest in the work and heritage of our great compatriot. If this name does not tell you anything yet, then you may have many discoveries related to the fundamental issues of life, based on acquaintance with the works of this great woman.

This exhibition is organized by the Theosophical Society in Ukraine and is dedicated to our world-famous compatriot Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, who made an invaluable contribution to the treasury of world thought, contributed to the spiritual revival of mankind and initiated the formation of a new scientific worldview at the present stage of human evolution.

H.P. Blavatsky had a great influence on culture - science, religion, art. It laid the foundations for the formation of a new picture of the world, based on the principle of the Unity of all beings, and a new way of human relations - the relationship of the Universal Brotherhood of Mankind. Her works have been translated into all languages ​​of the world. Many prominent figures of culture, science and art relied in their creativity on her works. Andriy Bily, Mykola and Olena Roerich, Gerbert Wells, Oleksandr Scriabin, Lev Tolstoy, Albert Einstein, Kostiantyn Tsiolkovsky, Metterlink, Tomas Addison, Maximilian Voloshin, Jan Sibelius, John Russell, Vasyl Kandinsky, Jack London and a whole galaxy of their contemporaries, drew scientific and spiritual knowledge from the works of our compatriot.

The name of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky became one of the outstanding cultural figures of our country and the world. It is the pride of our people, its importance in the future will be realized even more.

The Theosophical Society, at the origins of which was H.P. Blavatsky, today operates in many countries around the world on all continents, accredited to the United Nations. Its section is also in our country.

• She had something colossal, titanic, you could even say cosmic; and it was thought that it did not belong to our planet and did not correspond to the scale of our evolution (George Mead, its secretary in the last years of his life in London).
• Who was Helena Petrovna Blavatsky? And what is H.P.B.? (so called Helena Petrovna for life). Poorly understood and tainted, respected by some and hated by others, it is still no less alive, and may be more than a hundred years ago. Her name still causes a storm of feelings in all countries of the world, although the names of most of her contemporaries have long been mentioned in the pages of chronicles of history only in passing (Boris Tzyrkov, nephew and biographer).
• Her flaming torch illuminated the altars of the ancient gods and dispelled the Cimmerian darkness of ingrained ignorance and superstition, carrying the flame of the torch among those who preferred to remain blind and those who dared to look and see! (Boris Tzirkov).

Members of the Kyiv, Dnipro, Kropyvnytsky, Odesa, Luhansk, Kharkiv, and Zhytomyr theosophical centers took an active part in the creation of the exhibition.
